MY STEAM ONLY, gallery. All photographs where taken using digital camera's.There are photographs from the main line and our many steam heritage railways. There is also a black & white collection, these are mostly scanned photographs and 645 negs, as well as digital.I do hope you enjoy them as much as I had taking them. All Black and White photographs where taken using a 645 Bronica,(That did not last long, not the best for moving trains at speed)Then I got a Mamiya 1000s,(The best, bomb proof)and still going strong today, and then a 645 pro TL,(Not any more,I sold it to help buy the digital, and still not as good as a 1000s) Film used,Fuji Neopan 400 rated at 800,Kodak 400 Tri-x rated at 800,and when the light is very bad Ilford's 3200,All processed and printed by my self.My good friend Colin Livsey has supplied some negs he took back in the last year of steam in the North West,He was only about 14/15 years old,so money was tight.so could not afford a lot of film. He only captured a few workings, all in B/W.His neg are all 9x6,but most of the shots where fired early due to a sticking shutter, so he tells me.(Colin sadly passed away on Sat 6th Feb 2010) Photographs on this site may be used or purchased, contact me E-mail photos@alanseymour.com
I hope you enjoy visiting my site and return again soon. Thanks Alan Seymour. |
